Dating Scan - £75

What is a dating scan?

This scan is performed in 2D only from 11 -18 weeks A measurement of the baby is taken to determine the gestation.

How accurate is the dating scan?

The most acurate reading is at 12 weeks gestation, and up to 24 weeks it's +/- 5 days.

How long does the scanning take?

5 minute scanning session

What scans are provided?

The entire scan will be performed in the 2D mode to confirm the heartbeat presence and establish if you have a single or multiple pregnancy.

A measurement will be taken of the baby to determine your gestation week. Please note that a gender scan will not be performed during this scan. It may be useful to have a slightly full bladder for this scan.

Two black and white 2D thermal prints are provided. A thermal print of dating measuring chart will be provided.
