• This company follows the very strict guidelines and limitations laid down for the safe use of ultrasound. These guidelines are the same, as those used within the NHS, when you have attended for you’re conventional scan provided by your primary health care provider. We have adopted the A.L.A.R.A principle, which relates to the settings on the scanning machine. It stands for,  “As Low As Reasonably Achievable” and ensures that images are produced with out undue risk to you, your baby or our staff.

Despite extensive research, no known risks have ever been identified or proven, and ultrasound is recognised as a safe procedure during pregnancy. For further reassurance, we use the same ultrasound techniques which you will have already experienced within the NHS, the only difference is, our investment in the latest scanning machine, which incorporates the latest technology and probes needed to create the amazing 2D, 3D and 4D moving Images

• As a result of our patients concerns and voiced dissatisfaction with NHS scans not adequately supplying the reassurance they desperately required. 4D Baby Images has introduced, a complimentary, comprehensive well baby health screen within our popular 3&4D complete and complete plus scanning options
  ( option 4-5 only). This involves our Sonographers taking several
  measurements of baby during the 2D scan; these measurements include baby head circumference, abdomen circumference, length of the femur, (thigh) bone. The results of these measurements are all plotted and an estimated fetal weight is obtained, this is plotted against the individual gestation period to ensure baby is growing and developing within normal rages. This is saved onto your DVD for future reference.


• This service is provided by some of our competitors, however it should be noted, they will charge extra for it, taking the cost of a 3 & 4D scan, with well baby report to over £400, in some cases
